Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate the vehicle in compliance with applicable state and federal transportation laws and all safety regulations.
  • •Transport loads safely and efficiently along required routes and observe traffic laws.
  • •Maneuver trucks and trailers into loading/unloading areas and follow loading crew signals.
  • •Assist with loading/unloading using specialized equipment and return equipment to designated areas.
  • •Maintain required delivery paperwork (invoices, bills of lading) and perform routine service checks while reporting maintenance issues.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a commercial drivers license (Class A CDL) or the appropriate chauffeur’s license for the vehicle weight.
  • •Pass required background and drug testing per federal/state DOT regulations and pass a DOT physical for vehicles over 10k lbs.
  • •Be at least 21 years old to operate a company vehicle.
  • •Maintain professional, courteous communication with customers and staff at delivery points.
  • •Be able to lift and move up to 40 pounds and meet safety-sensitive physical requirements (including travel frequently).
