Key Responsibilities

  • •Design, implement, and execute systematic software test plans, cases, and suites across operational environments, toolsets, and system configurations.
  • •Build and maintain automated test scripts/frameworks and expand regression coverage through automation.
  • •Validate end-to-end workflows, system performance characteristics, and software interoperability in development and production environments.
  • •Isolate and debug complex, intermittent software defects using diagnostic tools; perform root cause analysis with development teams and document corrective actions.
  • •Collaborate with software architects, development engineers, and operational stakeholders within IMO; provide QA insights in design and code reviews and promote quality engineering best practices.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Electrical-Computer Engineering (or related) with 3+ years in software quality engineering/validation or software development; OR Master’s degree with 2+ years; OR Ph.D. with no prior experience.
  • •3+ years of hands-on test automation development and scripting using Python, Bash, or equivalent.
  • •Hands-on debugging of complex software stacks, including systematic root cause analysis, log analysis, and defect isolation.
  • •Testing web services/APIs (REST, RPC, etc.) and communication mechanisms across distributed or interconnected systems.
  • •Knowledge of standard testing methodologies (unit, integration, functional, regression, performance).
