Job Summary

Develop and optimize Python-based microservices for an internal platform and supporting infrastructure within the Security DevOps team. You’ll write clean, reusable code and ensure performance, scalability, and reliability across environments. Build and maintain processes using modern Python build tools, apply secure coding practices, support platform compliance, and collaborate with DevOps, product, and design teams while conducting code reviews and keeping up with emerging technologies.

Key Responsibilities

•Design, develop, and optimize Python-based microservices for the internal platform and supporting infrastructure.
•Write clean, reusable, well-documented code and libraries while ensuring performance, scalability, and reliability across environments.
•Implement and maintain build processes using PANTS, UV, or other modern Python build tools.
•Apply secure coding practices and contribute to platform compliance with internal security standards.
•Collaborate with DevOps, product, and design teams to ship secure, reliable features; conduct code reviews and share best practices.

Key Requirements

•Proficiency with Python frameworks and libraries such as FastAPI, Flask, and SQLAlchemy.
•Experience with Python build systems such as PANTS and UV (or similar).
•Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization with Docker, and orchestration with Kubernetes.
•Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies, plus automated testing (unit and integration tests).
•Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and security/compliance practices in software development.
