Job Summary

Provide fleet technical management for Airframe/Mechanical Systems, including continuing airworthiness management and technical support. Evaluate manufacturer and regulatory technical documents, update engineering records, and use in-service data to improve reliability and maintainability. Support AOG and disruption troubleshooting, manage engineering design activities under Part 21 privileges, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and aircraft/component manufacturers to address faults, defects, and quality issues while reporting on KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide fleet technical management, continuing airworthiness management, and technical support functions for Airframe/Mechanical Systems.
•Evaluate technical documents from manufacturers/regulatory authorities and update internal engineering documents (Engineering Order, Special Engineering Workcard).
•Review in-service data (tech log, pilot reports, defects) and implement actions to improve fleet, engine, component/system reliability and maintainability.
•Deliver technical assistance and operational support for disruption scenarios including AOG handling and troubleshooting of chronic/deferred defects and technical delays.
•Perform engineering design organisational activities (e.g., SOP development, in-house repairs, alternate parts, deviations) and execute project management for modifications/retrofits and related cost-benefit or budget proposals.

Key Requirements

•Degree or Honours (12+3 or equivalent).
•More than 10 years of experience in Engineering/Aeronautical.
•Degree in Aeronautical/Avionics/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering and/or 5 years as holder of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Licence.
•Related aircraft engineering experience and at least 8 years in Technical Services (including 5 years pertaining to Emirates fleet type/aircraft systems).
•Knowledge of latest technical developments and ability to analyse/synthesise technical information and produce drafting/reporting outputs in a fast-paced environment.
