Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure monitoring equipment for air pollutants across the UK provides correct results and reliable air quality measurements.
  • •Carry out on-site testing and calibration, and document air quality measuring instrumentation.
  • •Record, process, and report air quality data and ratify measurements for publication.
  • •Review and ratify air pollution measurements using in-house software systems and methods prescribed by UK Law and European Directives.
  • •Support publication across Scotland and wider UK, with significant travel including overnight stays.

Key Requirements

  • •A degree in Physical Sciences or Engineering is an advantage, but not essential (relevant experience will also be considered).
  • •Be able to conduct on-site work including lifting and unloading monitoring/testing equipment when needed.
  • •Hold a full, clean UK driving licence with solid driving experience and be able to drive a company van.
  • •Have an awareness of site safety issues.
  • •Demonstrate accurate, methodical research and data analysis skills with IT literacy, strong attention to detail, and communication/team working abilities.
