Key Responsibilities

  • •Process new loan applications by interviewing members, analyzing credit reports and documentation, and recommending loan products that meet member needs.
  • •Exercise lending authority to handle loan requests and ensure decisions align with applicable policies and regulations.
  • •Create and promote positive name recognition for the credit union and support/publicly participate in credit union events as needed.
  • •Work with branch/department managers to identify cross-selling opportunities, research member inquiries, and provide timely solutions.
  • •Maintain compliance and confidentiality for account information, enforce internal control and security measures, and perform Notary services and branch coverage responsibilities as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • •Ability to work in-person at the assigned branch location; in office 5 days a week with a monthly Saturday rotation.
  • •Strong background in a financial institution with relevant consumer loan processing or underwriting experience within the last twelve months.
  • •Ability to exercise excellent member service skills and perform in a sales-culture environment with cross-selling focus.
  • •Skilled in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and able to perform basic math and analyze data.
