Associate Director, Machine Learning (Core Algorithms)

Lead WHOOP’s cloud ML team that turns physiological data into sleep, recovery, and training insights. Own the technical vision and organizational health for core production algorithms like workout detection, strain, and sleep staging, raising rigor from research through deployment. Directly manage applied ML scientists and engineers while partnering cross-functionally with ML Platform/MLOps, Sensor Intelligence, Hardware, Product, Software Engineering, and Research to evolve models alongside hardware and improve development lifecycle practices.
