Job Summary

Own budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning for Retail (bricks & mortar) and eCommerce across Oceania, building models and monitoring commercial drivers to identify risks and opportunities. Deliver monthly financial reporting, variance analysis, and executive packs, and support investment decisions including capex and store initiatives. Partner with Retail and eCommerce leadership to influence strategy through commercially focused insights, while mentoring junior team members within Commercial Finance.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead annual Budget, Forecast, and Strategic Planning cycles; develop rolling forecasts and identify risks and opportunities.
•Build and maintain financial models and monitor key commercial drivers including sales, conversion, average transaction value, labor productivity, and occupancy costs.
•Deliver monthly financial reporting, performance analysis, variance commentary, and prepare Monthly Financial Reviews and executive reporting packs.
•Drive OPEX reviews and support investment decisions including capital expenditure requests and strategic store initiatives (openings, relocations, refurbishments, lease renewals).
•Partner directly with Retail and eCommerce leadership to influence decisions through commercially focused recommendations, and coach/mentor junior finance team members.

Key Requirements

•5-8 years of experience in FP&A or Commercial Finance.
•CA or CPA qualification.
•Demonstrated experience leading budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
•Experience presenting financial insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
•Advanced financial modelling and analytical capability with strong Excel, Power BI, and ERP expertise.
