Job Summary

Deliver products to stores, transporting blocks, mortar, and other materials safely to job sites. Coordinate with the dispatcher to receive delivery instructions and special directions, perform pre-trip inspections, and operate a tractor-trailer in compliance with state and federal laws. Monitor and report issues related to equipment operation, product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic, while keeping local routes and getting home each night.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport blocks, mortar, and other materials to job sites safely
•Receive delivery information from the dispatcher (materials, directions, and special instructions) and follow it accurately
•Perform pre-trip inspections of the assigned vehicle and report any concerns
•Operate tractor-trailer/vehicle according to state and federal laws and company/DMV safety regulations
•Monitor and immediately report problems with equipment operations, product quality, customer satisfaction, and traffic

Key Requirements

•Must have a current CDL A license and at least 2 years of current CDL experience
•Maintain a clean MVR
•Experience with forklift
•Ability to safely operate a gas-powered delivery trailer and lift/move up to 50 pounds
•Provide a required DOT yearly physical and perform pre-trip readiness with attention to detail
