Job Summary

Advance AI-driven engineering practices and technical excellence across the Issuer Solutions portfolio. Partner with software development and mainframe teams to raise quality through architecture and code reviews, establish reusable patterns and decision frameworks, and translate AI/Cloud/Security mandates into delivery. Evaluate and operationalize AI-assisted developer tools, build internal solutions to address systemic quality issues, and lead technical training and enablement while mentoring senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

•Set and evolve engineering standards across the Issuer Solutions portfolio, including code quality, architecture patterns, CI/CD practices, and security posture.
•Perform solution architecture reviews, code reviews, and design consultations to raise the quality bar for teams using Java/Spring, .NET, Angular, Python, and related technologies.
•Define reusable patterns, reference implementations, and decision frameworks teams can adopt independently.
•Bridge corporate platform teams (AI CoE, Cloud Engineering, Security) and delivery teams by translating enterprise mandates into actionable delivery.
•Evaluate, pilot, and operationalize AI developer tools, identify systemic quality issues with root-cause solutions, and deliver training/enablement while mentoring senior engineers.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•10+ years professional software engineering experience, including at least 5 years influencing at staff/principal/architect level across multiple teams.
•8+ years across mainframe and distributed technologies, including Assembler, COBOL, and Java-based enterprise applications.
•8+ years with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and AppOps practices, including production support, monitoring, incident management, and operational excellence.
•8+ years in cloud-native/containerized environments (OpenShift, AWS/Azure/GCP) and experience bridging hybrid mainframe-cloud ecosystems.
•3+ years adopting and championing AI-assisted development tools at scale, plus a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or relevant field (or equivalent).
