Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide non-medical, short-term, solution-focused counseling directly to eligible children and youth at assigned locations, including assessment, brief counseling, action planning, and referrals.
  • •Support staff and personnel of Child Development Centers, youth programs, and summer camps with counseling, parent training, and guidance.
  • •Deliver training and health-wellness presentations; participate in health fairs and base activities focused on children and youth.
  • •Enter counselor activity data daily via smartphone or web applications while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.
  • •Collaborate with installation Points of Contact to ensure CYB services meet installation needs and adhere to DoD protocols.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 59,922 - 100,280 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in a Mental Health field from an accredited program.
  • •Valid unrestricted independent counseling license (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, or Psychologist) to practice as an independent practitioner.
  • •A minimum of two years of post-license clinical experience.
  • •Ability to prove US Citizenship and fluency in English.
  • •Proven ability to engage with military members, their families, and diverse populations; CNACI/IRC/Background checks may be required.
