Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage team performance to ensure goals, schedules, budgets, and deliverables are completed on time and under budget.
  • •Identify interdependencies across the project portfolio and resolve interactions among projects.
  • •Control project scope and mitigate risks of potential changes while ensuring quality of work packages.
  • •Produce recurring briefings and status reports for executives and/or regulatory agencies and may represent the company in regulatory or public proceedings.
  • •Ensure governance, communications, and course corrections are followed; lead scheduling, cost controlling, reporting processes, and work with the Coordinator on risk and mitigation action analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or related field in the energy industry) with 7 years of relevant project management experience, including 3 years managing complex enterprise initiatives of strategic or regulatory sensitivity.
  • •Proven ability to mobilize and lead teams to deliver projects on time and under budget, including large teams of technical experts.
  • •Expertise in risk management and mitigation plans, and governance processes and procedures across a project portfolio.
  • •Expert in using MS Excel for data analysis, budgeting, planning, and optimizing schedules; strong oral and written communication skills.
  • •Knowledge and experience managing execution of large high-voltage transmission and substation capital projects (programs over $100M), including regulatory environment and required filings/approvals; PMP certification preferred/required.
