Key Responsibilities

  • •Co-define commodity strategy, multi-year technology and capacity roadmaps, and approved vendor lists for behind-the-meter transmission assets.
  • •Own global sourcing end-to-end, including supplier qualification, dual/multi-sourcing strategies, and performance management to compress lead times and improve on-time delivery.
  • •Negotiate commercial agreements with competitive pricing, volume commitments, and co-development/early access terms during industry shortages or grid constraints.
  • •Use predictive analytics, demand forecasting, and real-time supply chain visibility tools to anticipate and mitigate supply and program risks before schedules are impacted.
  • •Drive cost leadership and supplier innovation through value engineering, should-cost modeling, and collaboration on custom designs and modular/substation solutions while maintaining quality, reliability, and safety.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience, or 5+ years in business, supply chain, or engineering in lieu of a degree.
  • •3+ years of experience in global supply chain, procurement, sourcing, or commodity management focused on power systems, electrical transmission, high-voltage equipment, or energy infrastructure.
  • •Technical understanding of behind-the-meter transmission systems and high-voltage equipment (substations, transformers, switchgear) and power delivery architectures.
  • •Experience delivering results in ambiguous, high-velocity environments with aggressive timelines.
  • •Strong negotiation, analytical, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
