Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate a commercial motor vehicle to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete, including operating vehicle systems to alter, mix, or unload as required.
  • •Monitor gauges during operation, perform operator maintenance and minor field repairs, and inspect equipment and supplies daily.
  • •Communicate with the dispatcher regarding deliveries and complete deliveries according to dispatch instructions and delivery tickets.
  • •Collect customer payments and record transactions; inform customers about products/services and address basic questions or complaints.
  • •Maintain operator logs, forms, and records in accordance with company policy and DOT regulations, and submit reports of problems or repairs needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Must have a CDL (Class A or B, Class B minimum).
  • •Operate a ready-mix concrete truck safely and efficiently following laws, dispatch instructions, and jobsite procedures.
  • •Maintain communication with dispatch and check delivery tickets for special instructions; complete required documentation.
  • •Routinely climb access equipment and safely handle materials and slurry, including frequent 50-pound mixer chute handling.
  • •Maintain operator logs and perform daily vehicle inspections and minor repairs; be willing to work weekends and extended hours.
