Key Responsibilities

  • •Market new and renewal business, handling all aspects of the placements from initial market selection through policy delivery to client.
  • •Build and maintain detailed knowledge of logistics liability & shipper’s interest insurance marketplace, products and services.
  • •Develop productive business relationships with key insurance underwriters and Aon local office teams.
  • •Identify and analyze prospect and client exposures.
  • •Present to local account executives, participate in RFPs, client meetings and conference calls.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of logistics/marine insurance brokerage experience and/or related experience.
  • •Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • •Must maintain an active Property and Casualty insurance license, or be able to acquire one within the first 90 days of employment
  • •Must maintain appropriate broker’s license.
  • •Attention to detail, ability to multi-task, outstanding organizational skills, ability to make and communicate difficult decisions.
