Job Summary

Plan and coordinate production orders for microelectronics components to support new product introduction and legacy builds. Release and sequence detailed schedules using APS (where applicable), rescheduling based on customer priorities, materials, and capacity. Identify bottlenecks, drive recovery for past-due work, coordinate with procurement, and troubleshoot MRP exceptions while communicating impacts to sales and delivery commitments. Track execution metrics including schedule adherence, WIP, trapped inventory, and NCM.

Key Responsibilities

•Evaluate and coordinate production orders to ensure controlled flow of materials and services meeting customer requirements.
•Release, sequence, and perform detailed scheduling using APS (where applicable), then reschedule orders based on customer priorities, material availability, and capacity.
•Identify bottlenecks, develop recovery plans for past-due orders, and drive execution through the S&OE horizon.
•Coordinate with procurement to secure timely delivery of materials and convert planned orders to production orders on time.
•Report on and troubleshoot MRP system exceptions and track execution metrics including schedule adherence, WIP, trapped inventory, and NCM.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with a minimum 3 years of experience.
•Experience with production planning.
•Familiarity with electronics manufacturing.
•Ability to release, sequence, and schedule production orders and manage rescheduling based on priorities, material availability, and capacity.
•Experience troubleshooting system-generated MRP exceptions and driving corrective action on unfavorable trends.
