Job Summary

Lead daily physical security operations for a data center in Cyberjaya, ensuring safety, compliance, and protection of infrastructure, assets, and personnel. Supervise and support Security Guards, monitor access control and surveillance systems, respond to incidents, and produce incident reports. Help develop and enforce security procedures and client-specific requirements, administer security systems on shift, and recommend improvements to security recordkeeping tools.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise daily operations for a team of Security Officers, including planning, scheduling, timesheets, and directing routine and special projects.
•Monitor security operations during shift to ensure the data center and surrounding property remain secure and inaccessible to unauthorized personnel.
•Act as first point of contact during security incidents, assist investigations, gather evidence, and prepare incident reports in collaboration with stakeholders.
•Administer security systems on shift, including access control, CCTV, digital video recording, and photo badging.
•Develop and enforce security protocols, policies, and procedures, guiding team members to meet unique client requirements and maintaining client relationships.

Key Requirements

•High School or GED required, with post-school qualification or equivalent combination of experience and occupational training/certifications.
•Familiarity with security management, preferably in a data center or critical infrastructure environment.
•Knowledge of physical security systems, including access control, surveillance technologies, and incident response procedures.
•Experience using security systems and tools such as access control systems and CCTV.
•Recognition of leadership skills to learn to motivate and manage a team of Security Guards effectively.
