Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventive maintenance, including inspections and servicing components such as oil, oil/fuel filters, and transmission flushes.
  • •Conduct advanced vehicle diagnostics and perform light and major repairs across multiple vehicle systems.
  • •Handle complex repairs, advanced diagnostics, and more complex maintenance work including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, generator, and hybrid/on-board computer systems.
  • •Maintain vehicle history, maintenance records, and follow safety standards (including proper disposal of fluids).
  • •Coordinate parts/repairs with vendors as needed, perform moderate fabrication/equipment design (including welding), and support timely repairs and customer interactions.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma/GED and 5 years of related experience (or an equivalent combination such as a related degree/certification plus 3 years).
  • •Master Level ASE certification preferred; must be able to attain/maintain ASE status through ongoing training.
  • •Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File; safe driver required.
  • •Working knowledge of DOT and CDL requirements for medium and heavy truck applications; must have a current DOT medical card (or be able to take a DOT physical if needed).
  • •Ability to perform and troubleshoot repairs across light-duty to Class A heavy trucks, including diesel and transmission repairs (diesel/transmission experience preferred).
