Job Summary

Account Executive in the Airwallex SME & Growth team responsible for leading the full sales cycle with US-based SMEs (ecommerce, SaaS, professional services). You will translate complex fintech solutions into business value, exceed revenue targets, and collaborate with legal, finance, and strategy teams. This hybrid role requires in-office presence in San Francisco and active engagement in industry events and partner ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals, including ramping and early customer success.
•Develop deep product expertise in Airwallex’s platform (payments acceptance, cross-border payments, billing, spend management) to serve SME & Growth customers across verticals.
•Exceed revenue targets through strategic positioning of the fintech solution suite.
•Conduct technical and commercial consultations to identify client needs and propose tailored solutions.
•Collaborate with legal, finance, and strategy teams to negotiate and execute partnership agreements and commercial contracts.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 220,000 - 290,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Minimum 3 years of outbound B2B sales experience in fintech, payments, or adjacent technologies, with proven success selling into small businesses.
•Track record of exceeding sales targets in a technical or solution-based selling environment.
•Experience selling to ecommerce, SaaS/subscription businesses, spend management, or other technology-enabled/professional services verticals.
•Proven track record of consistent pipeline generation and outbound efforts.
•Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales enablement tools.
