CPU Core Physical Design Methodology Staff Engineer

Own the physical design “how” for CPU cores by building and tuning end-to-end implementation flows from synthesis through signoff. Optimize AMD’s EDA tool-chain with vendor collaboration, troubleshooting, and advanced scripting to automate design space exploration, ECO implementation, and multi-corner timing closure. Drive PPA targets through placement/routing and CTS/power-aware methodology, and strengthen signoff loops (STA, IR/EM, physical verification) to improve tape-out confidence and reduce iterations.
