Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide IFRS (and Solvency II) guidance to Allianz Group entities worldwide and Group Center management, focusing on general accounting and financial instruments.
  • •Determine appropriate inclusion method and classification of investments under IFRS 10/11/12 and IAS 28, including IFRS 9 topics.
  • •Interface with Group senior management and the external auditor on major accounting matters and significant transactions.
  • •Monitor emerging accounting issues, research impacts of proposed changes, and support implementation of new IFRS standards.
  • •Support group-wide training, deliver presentations at meetings/seminars/conferences, and contribute to national and international committees (e.g., prepare comment letters for the IASB).

Key Requirements
