Maintain and support CAE flight simulators and related systems to ensure safe, efficient training operations. Troubleshoot and resolve simulator issues, perform preventive maintenance and system checks, manage parts and logistics, and provide proactive customer-focused support in a 24/7 shift-friendly role at the Schkeuditz site.

Job Function: Hardware, Embedded & Systems Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Troubleshoot and resolve simulator system issues
•Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and system checks (pre-/post-flight, QTG runs)
•Record activities in the Maintenance Management System
•Support visual system tasks, hardware upgrades, and refurbishments
•Handle basic logistics, parts management, and testing; provide timely customer support and maintain simulator readiness

Key Requirements

•Technical degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Aviation, with several years of professional experience
•EU work authorization and strong English skills, very good German skills would be an advantage
•Basic knowledge of aviation systems, simulation technology, and aircraft terminology
•Ability to read technical documentation and perform troubleshooting using test equipment and software tools
•Understanding of analog/digital principles, IT systems, and operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux)
