Job Summary

Assist clients with the origination of residential mortgage loans by analyzing needs, advising on home lending solutions, and building referral relationships to grow the loan pipeline. Originate and process mortgage transactions in line with Home Lending process and product guidelines while remaining the primary point of contact through closing. Maintain sales/originator system proficiency, meet sales goals, and uphold high standards of client satisfaction and loan quality in a branch environment.

Key Responsibilities

•Prospect and build home lending business by developing new client loan originations and relationships.
•Originate and process residential real estate mortgage transactions according to Home Lending process and product guidelines.
•Provide clients detailed mortgage option, interest rate, and term information to support informed decisions.
•Gather loan documents at registration and serve as the primary point of contact during the loan process.
•Maintain client satisfaction and loan quality while staying proficient in sales/originator systems and monitoring real estate and mortgage industry trends.

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience as a loan officer in 1st mortgage production (preferred).
•3+ years of working knowledge of FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA, TIL regulations, and applicable mortgage laws (preferred).
•Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent experience (preferred).
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
•Ability to generate new mortgage business and manage the loan origination process through closing.
