Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise and direct daily engineering activities to ensure adherence to DPW engineering policies and operating procedures.
  • •Oversee electrical maintenance for equipment under the Engineering Department, including planning, resource allocation, and optimizing efficiency.
  • •Execute reliability practices such as failure data collection, root cause analysis, action plans to minimize failures (especially cranes), and preventive maintenance procedure updates.
  • •Conduct inspections and testing for key systems (e.g., emergency generators, lifts, fire system, yard flood lights, transformers), including equipment acceptance and warranty repairs.
  • •Coordinate safety and operational needs: complete job checklists with safety checks, investigate incidents/injuries, coordinate with Safety Manager, manage spares procurement/usage, and issue work permits.

Key Requirements

  • •B.E / B. Tech in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
  • •At least 10 years of experience in a relevant sector.
  • •Knowledge of Reliability/Condition monitoring/RCA and LEAN/Kaizen/5S.
  • •Ability to handle crisis and emergencies and work under stress.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills, time management, delegation, planning, relationship building, and problem-solving.
