Job Summary

Join a Cybercrime Research team to investigate threats targeting the LATAM region. You’ll analyze IOC/TTP data, research threat actors and their attack infrastructures, and produce context-rich alerts for customers. Build and maintain detections in the Threat Intelligence platform, align activity to MITRE ATT&CK, and develop mitigation and countermeasure strategies based on threat-hunting and emerging trends. Work with Dark web and open-source intelligence sources.

Key Responsibilities

•Analyze IOCs and TTPs for Latin America threat landscape threats such as banking trojans and remote access trojans.
•Craft, maintain, and document detection opportunities within the Threat Intelligence platform.
•Manage threat actor information, including TTPs and OpSec, and perform correlation/research to generate context-rich alerts for customers.
•Continuously research current threats and industry trends to keep the LATAM Threat Landscape up to date.
•Develop mitigation and countermeasure strategies and map observed activity to MITRE ATT&CK TTPs.

Key Requirements

•Passion for investigating cybercrime to actively combat and mitigate its impact.
•Understanding of the LATAM threat landscape and knowledge of prevalent regional threats (e.g., ransomware, banking Trojan, remote access trojan, initial access broker, fraudsters).
•Experience analyzing the cybercrime community and profiling threat actors.
•Deep understanding of the dark web ecosystem, including major underground platforms, goods/services traded, market dynamics, and communication methods.
•Basic scripting knowledge (Python, Bash) and experience using threat research sources such as VirusTotal, Urlscan, Shodan, RiskIQ, and public sandboxes.
