Key Responsibilities

•Develop highly detailed production schedules for the Scalping and Hot Rolling departments.
•Coordinate with casting/supply chain on ingot availability and align operational priorities.
•Optimize furnace loading to maximize throughput and minimize energy usage.
•Re-adjust schedules for breakdowns and quality excursions.
•Maintain ingot inventory and condition and perform administrative scheduling tasks (e.g., schedules and lot tickets).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program (preferred).
•3+ years of aluminum rolling experience (preferred).
•Strong understanding of hot rolling fundamentals, ingot prep, and furnace cycles (preferred).
•Ability to pass pre-employment testing under the specific area of discipline (required).
•Effective written and verbal communication and ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines (preferred).
