Key Responsibilities

  • •Review client documentation prior to and during inspections (drawings, reports, maintenance records).
  • •Perform visual inspections of building systems and equipment including normal/emergency power, lighting, vertical conveyance, and low voltage systems.
  • •Evaluate system conditions using professional judgment against client standards and applicable codes for accessibility, life safety, energy, and sustainability where required.
  • •Collaborate with client facilities staff to understand operations, capital investments, and functional needs.
  • •Document findings with photographic evidence using tablets/mobile tools and enter results into CBRE Turner & Townsend asset management/capital planning software.
Travel: Extensive travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 126,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, Construction Management, or equivalent.
  • •2+ years’ experience in facility condition assessments/inspections, facility operations, building design/construction, or property/facilities management.
  • •Knowledge of relevant building codes and standards for existing facilities.
  • •Experience performing quantity surveys and developing replacement cost estimates using RSMeans or similar data sets.
  • •Proficiency with computers/mobile devices and Microsoft Office (Teams, Word, Excel), with strong written/verbal communication and organization skills.
