Key Responsibilities

  • •Build, package, and deploy software to operational and pre-operational Windows systems from request through verified installation.
  • •Develop and maintain automated, unattended installations and system images to ensure reliable, reproducible deployments.
  • •Manage centralised offline patching and software updates for systems without direct internet access.
  • •Extend Ansible automation and CI/CD pipelines across Windows environments, aligning processes with the Linux side of the team.
  • •Administer and troubleshoot Windows systems in a distributed mixed-platform environment and document solutions while improving operational procedures.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in Windows administration, software packaging, build, or deployment engineering (8+ years for expert-level roles).
  • •Strong PowerShell skills, including deep practical knowledge of Windows Registry and Active Directory.
  • •Hands-on experience automating/unattended OS installation and managing centralised offline patching (WSUS, Intune, or similar).
  • •Experience packaging software using MSI, NuGet, and EXE, with knowledge of Git, GitLab, or Subversion.
  • •Experience with Ansible, CI/CD and configuration/change management, plus practical security experience (hardening, secure protocols, vulnerability testing).
