Key Responsibilities

  • •Inspect and test computational assemblies, subassemblies, cables, circuit cards, machined parts, optics, coatings/finishes, and other materials for compliance.
  • •Review first article reports, performance data, test results, and material certifications to confirm requirements are met.
  • •Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and product specifications, applying measurement precision, accuracy, and uncertainty.
  • •Identify and report nonconforming materials; apply disposition methods (rework/repair, re-inspect, scrap, or customer waiver via MRB or other authority).
  • •Support internal manufacturing and external source inspection, and use calibration intervals for inspection tools and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •High-school diploma or GED.
  • •Knowledge of First Article Inspection procedures.
  • •Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • •Strong attention to detail with follow-up and follow-through.
  • •Ability to work independently, prioritize work, and communicate clearly (written and verbal).
