Key Responsibilities

•Design, install, configure, and upgrade IBM InfoSphere DataStage environments; architect platform buildouts and ensure high availability.
•Manage DataStage projects, user roles, permissions, and server security; enforce governance and auditing.
•Develop and maintain automation scripts (UNIX/Linux, Python) to streamline maintenance and deployments; build Java-based user exits as needed.
•Monitor and optimize ETL pipelines; tune performance, handle large data volumes, and implement partitioning strategies.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust data processing pipelines and reliable data delivery.

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5+ years of hands-on DataStage administration and architecture experience (InfoSphere DataStage v11.x+).
•Proven expertise in UNIX/Linux, Bash, and Python scripting for automation and server maintenance.
•Java knowledge for building custom user exit routines and lightweight integrations.
•Strong understanding of DataStage security, user roles, and project administration (WebSphere/InfIS Console).
•Experience with ETL pipeline design, parallel jobs, performance tuning, and restartable/auditable workflows.
