Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide postpartum doula care to insured clients through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Partner with Loula as an independent contractor in a non-exclusive network.
  • •Deliver care while Loula handles Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, insurance verification, medical billing, and payment.
  • •Use rates varying by payer and plan, up to $134/hour of billable time.
  • •Participate in the screening and introductory call process if located in California and meeting minimum qualifications.

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendation, OR completion of 16 hours of birth/full-spectrum doula training and attendance at 3 births as a doula.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.

  • •Liability insurance.
