Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Plant Manager and plant leadership to provide financial insight, recommendations, and support operating reviews and planning sessions.
  • •Support monthly/quarterly/annual close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and analytical review while ensuring compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
  • •Lead monthly cost reduction and inventory management, analyze variances vs. forecast/profit plan/prior year, and prepare management reporting with drivers, risks, opportunities, and required actions.
  • •Analyze manufacturing cost and performance across labor, materials, overhead, burden absorption, productivity, freight, and engineer-to-order project/product profitability.
  • •Drive forecasting, profit planning, scenario/sensitivity analyses, capital project tracking, inventory valuation/cycle counting, and continuous-improvement analytics with dashboards and automated reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field and 5 years of related experience.
  • •Progressive accounting and/or finance experience in financial analysis, accounting, forecasting, and business partnership.
  • •Strong understanding of financial statements, cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and internal controls.
  • •Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system.
  • •Ability to communicate financial concepts to non-finance leaders and translate analysis into recommended actions.
