Key Responsibilities

  • •Pick, stack, label, and distribute products within the warehouse.
  • •Transport materials and items from the picking area to other designated areas.
  • •Sort and place materials or items on pallets and/or bakery dollies according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
  • •Load and unload bread trays from trucks.
  • •Utilize RF scanning and voice picking equipment for directed order picking, adhere to safety/food-safety/hygiene procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives (including 5S).

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • •Must be able to follow standard operating procedures and meet productivity goals.
  • •Ability to follow safety, food safety, and hygiene guidelines/procedures for safe housekeeping and personal protection.
  • •Ability to perform required physical tasks, including frequently lifting/moving up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds, and meeting vision requirements.
  • •May be certified to drive a riding pallet jack and use technology such as RF scanning and voice picking equipment for directed order picking, if applicable.
