Key Responsibilities

  • •Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and assist other technicians in repairs using technical drawings and diagnostic tools.
  • •Independently (or with minimal guidance) perform audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components.
  • •Provide resolutions for mechanical and technical/controls issues, including troubleshooting and repairing key Fulfillment Center components.
  • •Perform preventive maintenance and repairs according to safety and quality procedures, including cleaning conveyor systems and maintenance areas as appropriate.
  • •Complete work orders and written/computer-based documentation; assist supervision/management with general facility maintenance and inventory/tool support.

Key Requirements

  • •3–5 years of related experience in mechanical/technical troubleshooting, maintenance and/or installation.
  • •Experience with 3-phase systems up to 480VAC, including repair, installation, and maintenance.
  • •Strong mechanical troubleshooting and electrical background, including low voltage controls and PLC knowledge.
  • •Required prior experience or working knowledge of a conveyor and/or sortation.
  • •Ability to follow safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out) and perform physical job duties (including lifting up to 75 pounds and working at heights 40ft+).
