Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the design and delivery of roads, highways, signage and line marking, roadside safety barriers, utilities, and general civil infrastructure projects.
  • •Provide technical leadership to ensure delivery meets agreed quality, programme, and budget requirements.
  • •Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, efficient, and innovative engineering solutions.
  • •Support projects through planning and concept design through to construction support, including review of design outputs and technical reports for quality and compliance.
  • •Manage project tasks, resources, and client expectations; mentor and support developing engineers and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •6+ years of professional experience in transportation, roads, highways, or civil infrastructure projects in New Zealand or Australia.
  • •Experience in general civil engineering design and project delivery.
  • •Strong understanding of road and highway design principles and transportation design practices, including NZ standards and Austroads guidelines.
  • •Experience using industry-standard design software such as Civil 3D, 12d, OpenRoads, or AutoCAD, plus stakeholder management and communication skills.
