Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead engineering teams to deliver strategic goals aligned to core product services, features, and functionality.
  • •Drive planning, execution, and communication of appliance releases.
  • •Continuously identify and implement improvements to release processes, tools, and methodologies across customer-facing interfaces.
  • •Provide technical direction as a hands-on technical manager, guiding architecture and strategic direction for appliance software and internal tooling.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 155,000 - 175,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of hands-on software development experience (including relational databases, JavaScript, C++, and React) and understanding of build systems, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
  • •4+ years of leading/people management experience, successfully leading software and QA engineers to achieve established goals.
  • •Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, and RESTful APIs; familiarity with video streaming such as HLS and related technologies.
  • •Working understanding of AI inference engines (e.g., YOLO, OpenCV) and experience using AI tools to identify and implement AI-driven opportunities across the SDLC.
  • •Bachelor’s degree and proven experience in roles such as Team Lead, Engineering Manager, or Release Manager, including managing cross-border hybrid/remote engineering teams.
