Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on test vehicles, support equipment, and proving grounds assets.
  • •Set up test benches and vehicles for vehicle dynamics testing, including hardware build/installation, wire harness fabrication/installation, and instrumentation setup.
  • •Operate diagnostics tools, scan equipment, and test instrumentation to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • •Assist with vehicle dynamics testing activities during drivetrain and chassis evaluations.
  • •Document work thoroughly using test setup sheets, calibration records, photos, drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Key Requirements

  • •Associates Degree in Automotive Technology or Engineering Technology (or related) from an accredited institution.
  • •ASE Certified mechanic/equivalent certification OR at least 4 years of experience in a technical laboratory or motor sports setting.
  • •Strong mechanical aptitude with experience diagnosing vehicle systems.
  • •Ability to operate diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and test instrumentation to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • •Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
