Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform regular preventative maintenance on machinery, equipment, tools, and building systems.
  • •Assist in repair of woodworking machinery, infeed/outfeed systems, hand tools, and forklifts using diagrams, operating manuals, and manufacturer specifications.
  • •Order supplies and parts as required and perform preventive maintenance as scheduled.
  • •Maintain records of repair and maintenance activities.
  • •Follow established safety rules and procedures, keep the work area clean, and participate in safety and CI programs and meetings.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma.
  • •At least 1 year of experience in machine repair in maintenance.
  • •Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and control technology, and welding.
  • •Knowledge of safe equipment practices and applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
  • •Working knowledge of hazardous waste and hazardous material handling procedures and practices, and must be at least 18 years old.
