Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver enabling activities through interaction with approvals, heritage, and environmental teams.
  • •Develop optimised rehabilitation plans and pre-mining pit development activities aligned to forecasts and schedules.
  • •Identify key risks, events, and development-path enabling activities supporting medium-term tactical mine plans.
  • •Review forecast mine schedules and physicals, and support mine planning with scheduling input data and compliance reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in strategic and short/medium-term mine planning.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering (or similar engineering discipline).
  • •Ability to operate in a complex, dynamic environment and build strong working relationships with stakeholders.
  • •Familiarity with mine design and scheduling software (e.g., Maptek Vulcan, RPM MinePlanner, DESWIK, ESRI ArcGIS Pro) is an advantage.
  • •Previous open-cut mining experience in a similar role is preferred, with strong attention to detail and communication skills.
