Job Summary

Perform mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance to keep machinery running with minimal downtime. Tackle breakdowns and execute planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance with limited supervision, ensuring all work follows safety and plant operational requirements. Use SAP to order spares and maintain maintenance records, monitor recurring issues, and perform welding and fabrication. Mentor newly joined mechanics and contribute to EHS and plant performance initiatives like 5S and hazard reporting.

Job Function: Field Service, Maintenance & Skilled Trades

Key Responsibilities

•Perform mechanical installation, repair, and maintenance of machinery, equipment, and fixtures to minimize downtime.
•Handle mechanical equipment breakdowns and carry out planned, preventive, and predictive maintenance within time constraints.
•Ensure maintenance work complies with safety procedures and plant operational requirements.
•Use SAP to order spare parts and maintain records of completed maintenance work.
•Carry out welding and fabrication, monitor repeated breakdowns, and mentor newly joined mechanics.

Key Requirements

•Diploma in a relevant field.
•Completion of PEC Craft Training.
•3 years of relevant experience in a heavy industry after Diploma.
•No experience required after completion of PEC Training.
•Familiarity with maintenance tools and ability to read and understand engineering drawings, manuals, and instructions.
