Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Captain to deliver safe, efficient operations as a First Officer for Jetconnect’s Boeing 737-800 fleet.
  • •Uphold the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and training throughout operations.
  • •Represent the Qantas brand with pride while delivering outstanding passenger service.
  • •Participate in Qantas Flight Training and maintain required operational standards.
  • •Operate in a close-knit, professional crew environment across the Auckland/Wellington crew base model.

Key Requirements

  • •1,500 hours total flight time and 500 hours powered fixed-wing multi-engine or single-engine turbine time, plus required command/co-pilot experience.
  • •Australian CASA ATPL (A) or CPL (A); CPL holders must pass all Australian CASA or NZ CAA ATPL subjects before starting.
  • •CASA Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with 2D/3D Instrument Approach endorsements and current MEA Instrument Proficiency Check.
  • •Current CASA Class 1 Medical and Level 6 English Language Proficiency on your CASA licence.
  • •Legal right to live and work in New Zealand without restriction (Non-NZ/Australian passport holders must hold NZ Permanent Residency).
