Key Responsibilities

  • •Model user demand elasticity across products and coupon values, and use operations research optimization to maximize GMV and conversion rate under constraints.
  • •Design globally optimal budget allocation and pricing algorithms using elasticity modeling, operations research, and game theory for efficient allocation at large scale.
  • •Integrate real-time item-wise voucher capabilities into recommendation pipelines across short videos, live streaming, and marketplace for joint "traffic + subsidy" optimization.
  • •Research and productionize causal inference and frontier AI technologies (uplift modeling, E2E modeling, RL, LLMs, AI agents) to improve user conversion and repeat purchase behavior.
  • •Contribute as an intern toward products and research while collaborating with industry experts and participating in community and professional development events.

Key Requirements

  • •Currently pursuing a PhD in Software Development, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • •Strong expertise in machine learning and deep learning, including familiarity with models for recommendation, advertising, search, or marketing.
  • •Hands-on experience in at least one area: causal inference/uplift modeling, operations research optimization, search/recommendation/advertising algorithms, or frontier AI technologies (LLMs/AI agents/generative recommendation).
  • •Ability to translate complex business problems into mathematical or algorithmic models and drive them into production.
  • •Preferred: publications in top venues (KDD, NeurIPS, ICML, IJCAI, AAAI) or strong results in data mining competitions (e.g., Kaggle).
