Key Responsibilities

  • •Support corporate programs and initiatives while understanding and upholding company policies and procedures.
  • •Plan and perform sequence operations, make decisions, and coordinate with other departments and leads/supervisors for daily production needs.
  • •Inspect first piece raw material, WIP, and fabricated parts; read and interpret blueprints and job aids/shop orders to manufacture to specifications.
  • •Measure materials using verniers and gauges, perform necessary adjustments, and complete routine paperwork and inventory records accurately.
  • •Request additional material when necessary, contact appropriate work areas for support when problems arise, and assist with preventive maintenance.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes such as punching, bending, and welding.
  • •Solid mechanical ability with prior machine operator experience.
  • •Ability to read and interpret blueprints in English and operate basic measuring instruments (e.g., verniers and gauges).
  • •Ability to set up machine and tooling, and work with tooling/fixtures within equipment.
  • •Ability to continuously walk/stand 4–12 hours daily and lift up to 33 lbs independently (more with equipment assistance).
