Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver full life cycle cost management, including estimating, budgeting, and post-contract delivery for multiple clients.
  • •Estimate and negotiate change orders, reconcile changes, and provide cost planning and updates based on contractor and owner/project manager status.
  • •Coordinate cost information with design services and general contractors, develop cost estimates through design phases, and produce written submissions with executive summaries.
  • •Manage cost checks, valuations, cost variances, change control processes, contingency management, and commitment tracking logs.
  • •Produce monthly cost reports, compile built cost records for benchmarking, and support funding data presentations, value engineering sessions, and final account negotiations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role in the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working towards it is preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium or large construction projects of medium to high complexity.
  • •Good knowledge of construction procurement routes, value management, and value engineering; strong communication skills.
