Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as an incident commander during cybersecurity incidents and manage the incident response lifecycle from detection to resolution.
  • •Perform technical analysis of incidents, including malware analysis, packet-level analysis, and system-level forensic analysis.
  • •Lead cross-functional projects to improve capabilities for detecting and responding to security incidents.
  • •Develop incident response plans and procedures covering identification, remediation, containment, and eradication.
  • •Work with Detection Engineering to create custom rulesets to detect and hunt for advanced threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

Key Requirements

  • •Experience in computer security incident handling.
  • •Strong experience with operating systems including Linux, MacOS, and Windows.
  • •Experience with SIEM/SOAR tools and the ELK stack.
  • •Excellent knowledge of industry-standard frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK.
  • •Familiarity with coding in one or more languages such as Perl, Java, or Python.
