Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical expertise and ownership for chemical systems, safety and quality standards, and continuous improvements to those systems.
  • •Troubleshoot emergent equipment issues and drive timely technical direction to resolve failures and improve reliability, safety, and cost.
  • •Plan and execute preventative and breakdown maintenance with maintenance teams to address component failures and optimize performance.
  • •Own commissioning and startup for new chemical equipment installations, including design reviews, inspections, functionality and pressure tests, DIW and chemical qualifications, and compliance/design issue resolution.
  • •Support PSM/RMP covered chemical processes (including MOCs, PHAs, and FMEAs), coordinate with Fab Engineering, mentor junior engineers, and forecast capacity/utilization using scenario planning and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum bachelor’s degree in chemical or mechanical engineering (or related technical field).
  • •7+ years of relevant operations experience related to semiconductors, oil & gas, or chemical manufacturing.
  • •Preferred experience with semiconductor gas and chemical facilities, or oil & gas/chemical operations with hazardous process materials and safety focus.
  • •Knowledge of PSM/RMP, process safety, process controls, equipment troubleshooting, and data analysis/trending.
  • •Experience using MS Office and engineering/diagram tools such as AutoCAD, Piping & Instrumentation Drawings, and Process Flow Drawings.
