Job Summary

Test asphalt pavement and other materials for process control and acceptance, record and analyze results, and support product development and manufacturing. Perform lab analysis across operational phases by collecting, prepping, and testing samples with lab equipment. Ensure safe working practices and compliance with MSHA/OSHA/DOT standards while working both in the lab and at assigned job sites. Document test results and obtain required PennDOT or other certifications.

Key Responsibilities

•Adhere to safety rules and regulations of MSHA/OSHA/DOT and Pennsy Supply.
•Conduct daily safety assignments such as area inspections, pre-shifts, JSA’s, and TRACK.
•Test asphalt pavement for process control and acceptance and evaluate data to monitor trends.
•Perform lab analysis by collecting, prepping, and testing samples to determine characteristics for each operational phase.
•Document and report test results and obtain required PennDOT or other certifications in a timely manner.
