Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform technical fabrication operations on raw materials using metal-processing machinery throughout the Fabrication Department.
  • •Observe safety rules and hygiene regulations while completing production tasks.
  • •Set up and operate PLC-, analog-, or manually controlled machines to produce parts.
  • •Interpret work orders, including written instructions, Kanban cards, and drawings; complete required paperwork and system transactions.
  • •Inspect final components against work specifications and perform operator maintenance; report abnormal situations and submit maintenance work orders; provide on-the-job training for new Operators and perform TPM/5S responsibilities daily.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • •Previous experience reading calipers, protractors, and tape measures.
  • •Previous experience reading blueprints.
  • •Live within 50 miles of the Arden, NC facility (no relocation offered); Active-Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographical limitation.
  • •Able to lift 35 pounds and demonstrate proven safe work habits and good attendance; able to work overtime on weekdays and weekends.
