Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Provide friendly, professional, and knowledgeable service to clients and conduct surveillance to deter external theft.
•Adhere to laws and Sephora policies concerning apprehensions, search and seizure, and preservation of evidence; prepare related reports.
•Develop and maintain professional relationships with internal partners, local law enforcement, mall security, and other retailers; testify in court when summoned; provide new hire and ongoing trainings for loss prevention awareness.
•Conduct store self-audits, checklists, and safety inspections; communicate findings to leadership; assist with inventory preparation and shrinkage prevention plans.
•Must meet minimum weekly hours: Full Time 30-40 hrs/week; Part Time 16-20 hrs/week.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 25 - 30 hourly

Key Requirements

•1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in a retail environment.
•Satisfy and maintain all licensing requirements (as required by province or local jurisdiction).
•Possess strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
•Ability to maintain composure and provide effective coaching in the moment on loss prevention techniques.
•Availability to work flexible hours and days, including evenings, weekends, and holidays; availability to work at multiple locations within a market.
