Key Responsibilities

  • •Benchmark system and database performance and perform performance analysis, including capacity sizing and optimization.
  • •Troubleshoot and debug application/server errors using logs, and triage issues.
  • •Recommend configuration tuning and optimizations for performance bottlenecks.
  • •Partner with core, cloud, security, and engineering teams to improve ClickHouse Cloud performance.
  • •Plan, enable, and automate Chaos Engineering initiatives; run chaos experiments and measure impact, and study resilience/operational/delivery problems.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant distributed systems.
  • •Software development experience in Go, C/C++, Java, or similar languages.

  • •Experience with cloud infrastructure services, preferably Kubernetes-based.
  • •Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-a-service offerings (e.g., EC2).
